Hospital visitors given vital hand washing guidance
Staff from the housekeeping and infection prevention teams at West Suffolk Hospital have launched a comprehensive and effective introduction to hand hygiene for hospital visitors according to a report on the Ipswich Star website.
The article, by Emma Brennan reveals that TEAL Stop n’Wash mobile hand wash stations have been positioned outside wards and near the hospital’s front entrance. These key locations will help to reduce the spread of infection.
Interim chief nurse at West Suffolk Hospital, Rowan Procter, is quoted as saying
“We hope that this week-long campaign will give patients and visitors to the hospital lots of useful tips and practical advice to help them stay well this winter.”
