The Infection Prevention Society (IPS) Wessex branch is holding a FREE Conference in Southampton on 8th November 2018.
The theme of the conference is ‘The New World of IP&C with Old Challenges'.
This day will be of interest to all healthcare workers including infection prevention and control practitioners, matrons/team leaders, managers of nursing and residential homes, practice nurses, link nurses in the community, inpatient and residential settings.
The theme of this year's conference is "Surgical Site Infection: Supporting Practitioners; Stimulating Change; Improving Outcomes". Programme highlights include Skin Preparation, Instrument Management, Surgical Environment, Prophylactic Antibiotics and Wound Management.
