A new fleet of breakdown assistance vehicles operated by motoring organisation RAC have been fitted with the
HANDEMAN® hot water hand wash unit from
TEAL – the smallest product of its kind on the market.

The Mercedes Vito Compact RAC patrol vans operate in city centres and deal with breakdowns which often occur in multi-storey car parks where access is restricted.
With space at a premium in the new vehicles the compact
HANDEMAN® provides the perfect “ablution solution” for RAC patrols.
“We have provided hand wash facilities in our patrol vans for many years. As these new vehicles are smaller than or existing fleet, the compactness of the Handeman® made it ideal for the job,” says RAC Vehicle Development Manager Roger Walford.

Each
HANDEMAN® provides enough hot water for at least ten thorough hand washes from a convenient vertical location – internal or external - on any vehicle. No plumbing is necessary with water – clean and dirty – stored within the unit and ready for washing at the touch of the fingertip tap.
Running hot water comes out of the
HANDEMAN® in a jet spray to provide a thorough hand wash at 45°C which is comfortable for the user but also hot enough to get hands really clean.
12v and 24v models are available, supplied with a complete fitting kit and clear instructions. They are fully automatic so the busy worker doesn’t have to remember to switch on!
The
HANDEMAN® units have been fitted just inside the near side loading door of the new RAC patrol vans, where they can be easily and safely accessed by the patrols, who often need to wash their hands after working on vehicles.
